The Study Of Hai Tian Hong Xue Ji

This paper is divided into three parts. In the first part, we collected the version of the Hai Tian Hong Xue Ji, and combing the previous discussion about the author of this novel. The scholar AYing thought the novel was made by Lee Boyuan, but other scholars thought this view was not reliable. Depending on many evidences,especially the Fudan university Tibet that Li Boyuan comments was deleted, we believe that the augment of "Lee made" still has some possibilities.In the second part, this paper investigated the value of the novel from the attitude of writing, language and narrative style. Firstly, the objective attitude make the novel presents the reality of society. Secondly, the wu-dialect language make this novel regional, flexibility, etc. Thirdly, the novel shows the style called " suddenly come, suddenly go " which bring the readers a fleet of aesthetic experience.In the last part, this paper studied urban landscape, entertainment consumption industry, social class and ideas of social and cultural phenomenon. In the first place, the real urban narrative let the novel has the meaning of the urban culture and regional culture. Secondly, we studied the industry of entertainment consumption in the late Qing period, and studied its underlying cause. Thirdly, In the prosperous concession area, the merchant’s status began to rise, and the status of the scholars are gradually falling. In addition, the women’s status has improved, which reflected the buds of feminine consciousness.
