| Fan Ye is a famous historian and writer of Liu Song Dynasty, later because the rebellion was killed. After the death of Fan Ye, how to evaluate the Fan Ye has been a controversial issue. This paper is according to the time sequence of the development in different periods, different evaluation of Fan Ye carried out. Except the introduction and conclusion, this thesis is divided into 4 chapters.The introduction part first introduced the life and writings of Fan Ye, then focuses on reviewing the current status of Fan Ye "s research and the research direction and research method.The current study for the Fan Ye, roughly divided into two aspects.One is to study the life stories of the Fan Ye. On the other hand is the research on the literature and history of the Fan Ye. There is no paper to discuss the evaluation of the Fan Ye and the causes of the time and personal influence of the evaluation in detail.The first part mainly discusses the evaluation of Fan Ye in Nan Dynasty. The evaluation of Fan Ye in Nan Dynasty, on the one hand found in historical records, in the other hand is the evaluation of the literary and art circles.The historical records for the evaluation of Fan Ye boils down to "the fickle shallow, blinded by lust for money".The literary and art circles for Fan Ye’s evaluation, summed up as "extraordinary beauty of art".The second part mainly discusses the evaluation of Fan Ye in Tang Dynasty.The evaluation for the Fan Ye mainly seen in Liu Zhiji’s "Shi Tong" and Gu Kuang’s works."Shi Tong" evaluate Fan Ye from many aspects, summed up as "very elegant but shallow knowledge". For Fan Ye’s disloyalty and impiety, thus Gu Kuang denied the literary contribution of Fan Ye, and believed that he is not a writer.The third part focuses on the evaluation of Fan Ye in the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasty.The evaluation of Fan Ye in these three dynasties is mostly negative but rarely positive.During this period, many critics think Fan Ye see the shallow knowledge, the The Book of Dong-Han have the deficiency and then questioned his ability to write history books and criticized the ability to identify materials.Further, because of the rebellion and questioned his virtue, thus to abolish the "The Book of Dong-Han".Of course, this period also has some positive evaluation, but the number is very small, and does not become a system.The fourth part mainly discusses the evaluation of Fan Ye in Qing Dynasty.Fan Ye’s evaluation during this period is to system and fair. From kangxi in the early Qing Dynasty to the Three experts in history in Middle of the Qing Dynasty and to Li Ciming in the late Qing Dynasty,They praised the advantages of Fan Ye’s historiography and also criticized his shortcomings.In addition, the Qing Dynasty scholars, represented by Wang Mingsheng, Chenli had a very high evaluation of The Book of Dong-Han.So they wanted to defend Fan Ye’s treason spread for over one thousand years and strived to restore reputation for Fan Ye. |
