Dong Zhongshu was a Confucian scholar in the Han Dynasty, famous for hisresearching in ‘spring and autumn’, while his discourse of Poem was secluded in the HanDynasty poetics development. This paper is focusing on the quoted situation of Poem inhis “ch’un-ch’iu fan-lu", to discuss Dong Zhongshu’s Poetic idea and its influence on theHan Dynasty poetics. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this article is dividedinto four sections, the first two chapters for focuses on the parts.The first chapter is mainly describing citation characteristics in "ch’un-ch’iu fan-lu".The most of poetic reference in "ch’un-ch’iu fan-lu" was from ‘Ya’ and "Ode" article. Thecitation form of Poem which generally taken directly quoted, namely to use ‘poems said+verse+this is called’ form demonstrated his viewpoint. Of course, with some indirectreference of The Book of Songs, only cite poetry; don’t appear the original sentences.Dong zhongshu explained Poem from view of the saints, and used Poem to proof therationality of his political views; explained Poem with yin-yang and five-element,meanwhile contrast this idea with natural and social law, to make his Poem withtheological colour.The second chapter is the basic concept of Dong Zhongshu’s poetics."the Book ofSongs," in Dong Zhongshu thought has a high status, and even the law as the book," takethe poem as the world law" to King Enze, so as to promote the importance of the idea ofConfucian virtue. In the construction of political theory in the process, Dong Zhongshu hasa lot of opposite and complementary words, in order to resolve this contradiction viewpoint,Dong Zhongshu found" Shi Wu Da Gu" concept and the combination of the Confucian "Sutra" thought to help their political views in the theoretical unity."The poetry of DongZhongshu" is on the" poetry expressing ideals" of literary theory is the inheritance anddevelopment,"the poetry of" Enlightenment thought is analysis tool.The third chapter is exploring the origin of Dong Zhongshu’s poetics. His poeticsaffected by the dying Pre-qin poetry influence in the Han dynasty, especially the poetics ofXunzi. As a Neat school representatives, Dong Zhongshu’s Poetics and the inheritance of"Qi" poetry is also inseparable. The vigorous development of the Han dynastyConfucianism, the origin of the Confucian academic environment and the culture thinkingof respect Heaven and adore sages in the Han Dynasty provided wide development spacefor his Poetics formation.The fourth chapter is the Han dynasty poetics affected by Dong Zhongshu’s poetry. Mainly displays in: Dong Zhongshu created a precedent that is explaining Poem with "YinYang and five elements", which directly impacted on the explanation of Poem in Ban Gu’s’History of the Former Han Dynasty’. And at the same time, he is a key figure that takenshapes the style of ’Qi’ Poetry explaining Poem with "Yin and Yang, five elements". Hisquotation and discussion of Poem promoted the classic process of Poem, meanwhile his ’nounchanged explanation’ thought provided a powerful theory basis for Han DynastyConfucianism explaining Poem. It cannot be measured that his poetics influenced thedevelopment of Han Dynasty Poem.
