New Ways Of Seeing

This design is about seven contemporary Italian artists came to Nanjing to participate in ’Jinling residency project’activities, about collision and fusion of artists who exhibit in the Western culture and art in Nanjing residency this month. The design presented in the way of feature films. Seven Italian artist from Italy Tuscany had with their own deep tradition of Western art since the Renaissance, with different eyes looked Chinese society and culture, and even the other hand, Western culture and self, passionately created the number of unique style paintings. In this month in Nanjing, they and Chinese artists, visit the streets of Nanjing, with curiosity and exploration vision, they created a number of colorful, different styles of work, not only embodies the distinctive Tuscan style, but also into some sort of understanding and impression of Nanjing. Artists’ original concept of art, in a foreign culture in a foreign land, produced a subtle change. The collision of traditional Western art and ideas also resulted in a different perspective.
