Followed by the development and popularity of the Internet, instant communication devices iteratively update and social media with various social elements emerge endlessly. Network communication has gradually become an important way of communication in modern society. Therefore, as one of the increasingly popular social elements, the network emoticon---emoji is a unique "language", which is now an important carrier of people’s emotional expression.The translation practice project is an English article selected from the category of computer science of Cornell University’s library. Based on the sentiment classification of emojis, the thesis has introduced the origin and development of emojis and elaborated the contents, methods and results of the research on the emojis’sentiment analysis in detail.On the basis of the features of the article and the guiding principle of "pragmatic enrichment", the report has analyzed the problems in the translation and concluded the solutions. It complies with the trend of international academic exchange, and will enrich the relevant researches about the new "language"---the network emotions, finally providing some practical suggestions for academic translation in natural science.
