| China youth idol drama, born in a specific economic and cultural environment with both artistic and commercial features, enjoys wide and profound influence. As witnessed by the broadcast of Eternal Moment in 1998, youth idol drama, a new television drama type with distinctive characteristics, gradually formed its own writing laws with constant updates by trial and error. Concerning the audience psychology and composing background, model idols created in youth idol dramas is of great significance for youth culture establishment, prosperous cultural market and local core values promotion. As a result, this paper mainly probes into the way how the idols setting examples via youth idol dramas so as to finally cast influences on adolescent audiences’ mind and behavior based on the composing features of TV drama text and TV play elements.With the attention on idol construction in youth idol drama, this paper starts from the origin of youth idol drama and idol itself, discovers the problems existed for idol construction via analyses on psychological features of adolescent audiences, social cultural background and the current situation of idol construction in domestic youth idol dramas, and finally comes up with respective solutions by learning the industry strategies of Japanese and south Korean idol drama, thus providing theoretical references for the construction of model idols in China youth idol drama in the future. |
