Analysis On Theses Of MTCSOL Of Zhengzhou University

The thesis is an important part of academic degree training, is also the last link. Analysing theses, can check the students’ knowledge capability, research level and learning attitude, the research direction, training quality and development trend of major can be reflected.The research object of this paper is 209 theses of domestic full-time MTCSOL of 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 class in Zhengzhou University. Using the content analysis method mainly, analyzed the topic orientations, research methods, types of theses.Analysis shows that topics of theses conform to the requirements of professional thesis topics, and there is certain value of theory and application, but exist a phenomenon that topic orientation is relatively concentrated; Research methods using incline to diversification, standardization, but still being many problems; Thesis type is complete, but the proportion of thesis type serious unbalanced. Combined with related research results and professional teachers’ proposals, try to make several suggestions of optimizing thesis writing from the perspective of the training institutions, students themselves, such as optimizing setting of curriculum, cultivating students’ problem consciousness, institutionalizing theses’ norms.To a certain extent, this paper reflects the training situation of MTCSOL of Zhengzhou University, hoping this research can be used as a reference for the training of MTCSOL of Zhengzhou University.
