Faced with the flourishing of world’s science and technology enterprises, China roots in domestic development as well as keeps pace with the advanced achievements in international science and technology. In this way, frequent communication between different language communities is called for, indicating greater market potential in enterprise science and technology translation. Huawei, as a successful model for Chinese science and technology enterprise, attributes part of its success to professional translations in Translation Service Center(TSC).This paper presents how translators’ subjectivity is manifested in enterprise science and technology(EST) translation based on the author’s internship practice in Huawei. The corpus, DC IT Infrastructure Integration Service V200R003 Service Proposal(Migration Service) comes from Huawei TSC, which was translated from Chinese to English by the author of this paper. In this paper, three parts are discussed before empirical analyzing how translators’ subjectivity is manifested:In the first part, internship overview is presented, giving a brief introduction to Huawei TSC and translation process in TSC.In the second part, theory details about subjectivity and translators’ subjectivity are discussed.The third part analyzes the features of EST translation from two dimensions: EST translators’ service receivers and translation purposes.The fourth part is the main body of this paper, demonstrating with concrete examples of how translators’ subjectivity is manifested from perspectives of linguistics, format, and culture.The last part is presented as a conclusion about internship in Huawei, summarizing the research methods, discoveries, and limitations as well some sincere suggestions for translators afterward.
