Chopin is one of the most important composers during the Romantic music period. His G minor Ballade Op.23 is treasure of all works from the view of the spirit of work, it inspired the Polish people to revolt against the oppression of the determination; from the composing techniques, it was made up of a kind of mixed structure; from the view of the content of the work, it represented complex psychological and heroism of people in the wartime.The thesis will briefly reviewing he creation background and the creation technique of the Ballade op.23.I mainly focus on discussing the playing techniques combined with my own experience.And based on that, Icompared two playing version of two famous pianists.
