On The View Of Justice And Profit In Confucianism Before The Qin Dynasty And The Education Of The View Of Justice And Profit For Contemporary College Students

In the period before the Qin Dynasty. the view of justice and profit is one of the core content of Confucianism. It has huge influence on mainstream value judgement in the 2000 years’ feudal society of China. In modern times, our country has greatly changed but the idea of justice and profit still remains its significance, and it also affects the value judgement of the public to varying degrees. At present, our country has entered a new era of deepening reform, the great changes of social relations and distribution has taken place. At the same time, some social contradictions have been revealed. The ideology of college students has been affected and changed. Negative views such as spending ethics for profits and treacheries begin to grow. Therefore, to analyze the Confucian view of justice and profit before the Qin Dynasty objectively and dialectically, extract and summarize its essence, is very important for contemporary college students to receive the right view.In the beginning of this thesis, the terms of "justice", "profit" and "the view of justice and profit" are being defined and interpreted in concept and connotation, and the thesis also illustrates the formation of this idea. In the second part, this thesis introduces the contemporary thinking, summarizes the main contents and sprit of this idea, and the reference significance for the education of contemporary view of justice and profit. It comes to the conclusion of the present situation and main problems of this idea among the college students through researching literature. We have discovered that the mainstream of the view of justice and profit is positive among the college students, but some negative views have been also revealed like egoism, utilitarianism and money worship. This thesis finds out that the problems and reasons of college students’view through the three dimensions of the study which are the society, university and the college students. In the last part of the thesis, it provides some advices to solve the problem of college students’view of justice and profit, and finds out the positive part for the education of the view through the discovery of the Confucian idea of justice and profit before the Qin Dynasty. This thesis combines the best part of the idea and the education for the contemporary college students, and improves the social environment, college education, and the students themselves.It also leads the students balance the relations between individuals and the country, collective, and others. And it provides constructive views and suggestions as well.
