This paper examines the evaluations about peace negotiations betweenSouthern Song and Jin from the Southern Song to Modern, combined with thebackground to explore the reasons for these evaluations produced.It is pointed that theevaluation has continuted fluctuating. The Ming Dynasty is the low ebb while theperiod of Qianlong and Jiaqing in the Qing Dynastyis the peak. In the Republicaffirmation and negation by the most intense debate. On this basis, I give my opinionto the peace negotiations between Southern Song and Jin the Song. Its background isthat the Jin and the Southern Song Dynasty is in balance in the political, economicand military aspects are unable to compete for the Central Plains.
