The Research Of Chinese Polyphony Works On Contemporary

Since the piano was introduced into China, the Chinese piano music creation has been developed considerably. Chinese musician has explored actively and integrated western composition techniques. Many excellent piano works with Chinese characters emerged. In terms of polyphony, this combination and exploration has been fully developed; not only enriched the Chinese music composition techniques, but also injected to Western compositional techniques with new blood.Throughout the development of the world piano music, polyphony has a very important position. It is an important form of multi-part music, and the ancient pianist must master it. Combining Chinese traditional music culture and polyphonic techniques gives the Chinese piano music more fresh vitality. This article works with examples, to discuss the form of the use of polyphony in Chinese piano works. So that this will attract attentions of the majority of musicians, and help pianist and piano educator have a better understanding of Chinese polyphonic piano works.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is an overview of contemporary Chinese piano polyphony, including Chinese piano music polyphonic techniques inheritance and development; an overview of contemporary Chinese piano polyphonic work and its specific techniques application. The second part is the interpretation of Chinese contemporary piano polyphony. I took fugue as an example, and studied from three aspects: the categories of subject melody, modal and tonal arrangement analysis, and the author took three different types of Fugue divertimento set as an example, to enumerate specific analysis. The third part is about teaching and playing of contemporary Chinese piano polyphonic work, which includes contemporary status and prospect, analysis and recommendations regarding teaching and classification in various difficulty levels, and detailed analysis of the performance characteristics of Chinese contemporary polyphonic works.This paper is based on current research, with a breakthrough of analyzing training and performance in contemporary Chinese piano polyphony work. To enrich selections in the teaching process and to have a better understanding of Chinese piano works, the author has organized most representative polyphony works since 1980 s. From the aspect of piano teaching, the author classified contemporary piano polyphonic works and then compared with the western works in the same difficulty level, to assist students with a more comprehensive understanding.
