A Study Of Criticism On Wenxuan Fu In The Qing Dynasty

The paper explores the acceptance of "Wenxuan" Fu in the Qing Dynasty,by using the method of literature criticism and the document of Iiterature,combined with "point" and "surface",for a" Wenxuan" typologies research.The main part of the paper first discusses the Fu examination system constructed by the Imperial Academy in Qing Dynasty and the Imperial Examination System.together with the academy education institutions, to promote the dissemination and research of Wenxuan Fu;Then on the base of the argument between Gutifu and Lvtifu, I discusses the classic role Wenxuan Fu played in the theory of Gutifu> literature and Fuhua. It has a typical significance beyond the contrary between Pian and San, the contrary between Gutifu and Lvtifu.This is what we call "surface".The following three chapters, I selects three kinds of Wenxuan Pingben before the mid-Qing Dynasty, combined with official policy, academic atmosphere, and the authorship. I’m tring to find out the characteristics and the theory on Fu of the text. I think that HongRuogao’s text reflects the academic atmosphere after the Ming Dynasty. He was a classical writer, whose comments on "Wenxuan" Fu is unique, especially in his book Nanshawenji which thought the Guofeng as the origin of style and viewed Qi as the center of writing. He advocated HanFu and focused on the grotesque of Fu. Moreover, he talks more about the feature "satirical" and "flatter" of Fu. Hezhuo was a knowledgeable Puxue scholar, whose criticize and annotation on Wenxuan Fu were well-founded and valuable. He thinks that Fu is originated in the Book of Poetry and Lisao and has the function of irony. The stlyle of Fu which he approved was "not straight". In addition, he has his own views on many issues of Fu. FangTinggui was a teacher, whose criticize and annoation on Wenxuan Fu was just to facilitate the learning of people. Because of the change of academic atmosphere, FangTinggui’s text was not as recklessly as HongRuogao, but he changed and moved the title of Wenxuan" Fu based on his theory on Fu and purpose, and he also discussed "Weizi" of Fu.
