Wang Shizhen was an influential person no matter in literary or political area during the early Qing Dynasty,he ordered more than three dozen portraits all his life, often followed by short inscriptions, and the writers’ identity were extremely complex. Even though it was a popular hobby arround his social environment, such as Wang Shizhen’s frequently portrait ordering was still relatively rare. Wang Shizhen made the portrait subject of his a special way to shape the image that being indifferent to fame and wealth,and a tendency to seclusion from the worldly affair,and made the connection between himself and the refined scholars which mentioned in the classical allusions of the subject. He draw the Cultural lineage with the sages. Through the interpretation of the inscriptions, the writters participated in shaping the image of Wang Shizhen.After the generation of wang,the followers in Qianjia reign such as Weng Fanggang、Gui Fu et al.,By copy the images that Wang Shizhen established and other activities such as worship collection,inscription and they were to confirm the Cultural lineage and for further expansion, but also established their own cultural images. Thus, the owners 、 painters and the later writers associated with the portraits were followed through a series of activities, all interpreted of the common cultural significance of portraits.
