A Study On Li Jianwu’s Drama View

Li Jianwu is the outstanding dramatist in the history of modern Chinese drama. He not only engaged in the drama creation and theoretical criticism, but also participate in stage performance. If the drama is a comprehensive art, Li Jianwu’s various drama activities make him easier to close the essence of drama. However, there are some problems in the research of Li Jianwu’s literature criticism, the drama research is relatively weaked amd lacked the overall concepts. In this paper, we based on the history of modern Chinese drama and Li Jianwu’s experience, to explore the reasons for the formation of his drama view and the characteristics of performance. From a comprehensive point of view to evaluate Li jianwu’s drama study. This paper is divided into five parts:Introduction, We found that there are some problems in the research of Li Jianwu’s theatre creation and criticism in the new century. To Establish the writing purpose and research significance about Li Jianwu’s drama concepts in mature stage(specifically to drama literature concept).The first chapter, the study about the formation process of Li Jianwu’s drama theory. He is based on the traditional ethnic culture and playing a spirit of artistic creation to improvement of Chinese opera, Drawing the essence of foreign drama ideas to construct a unique drama aesthetic pursuit.The second chapter, analyze the characteristics and performance of Li Jianwu’s drama view. "Human nature" is the core through Li Jianwu’s drama thought. On the scientific cognition of "reality" becomes support its foundation in the theory of "human nature". In the drama criticism, he laid special stress on writers(or critics) the existence of the subject consciousness, and highlight the drama artistic authenticity; In the drama creation, he thinks that the essence of the drama is making "the human nature profound flutter", he avoid the heavy and thick drama, to pursuit a kind of authenticity drama style.The third chapter, mainly elaborated and summarized the important value about Li Jianwu’s drama theory. Such the drama views is supplement the traditional of Chinese drama, with the modern consciousness and revealing the unique character of drama literature. Furthermore, the art value of thinking based on the production inspect the current situation of the development of modern Chinese drama.
