The Study Of Contrasting The Singing Of Yong Opera And Cantonese Opera

The formation and development of Yong opera has a close relationship with Cantonese opera. Hence, author chooses the project of comparing Yong opera and Cantonese opera’s singing as the subject to explore their relative.From this angle,a more comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences between Yong opera and Cantonese opera could be realized.Meanwhile,we could confirm this conclusion with the relationship between the Yong opera and Cantonese opera in other aspects.The full text of the first chapter introduces the reason of selecting the topic and the purpose of research、the achievements of research、the significance of research and the methods of research.The second chapter discusses many aspects approximation of Yong opera and Cantonese opera in history, plays, the type of roles,a universal parts of the plays and performance.The third chapter mainly analysis numerous types of singing in Yong opera and Cantonese opera after familiar with the basic composition of their singing,involving the parts in their most representative plays.Finally,the singing of Yong opera and Cantonese opera like brothers has evidences on similarities appearing in mode,the moving line of melody,the form of singing,arrangement of word position and so on.Difference was not significant, however, there still displays their characteristics.In general,Cantonese opera has a soft and exquisite style. Yong opera’s singing is filled with bright and simplicity. Similarities between the singing of Yong opera and Cantonese opera in a variety of aspects also proves that the development of opera is a blend of process instead of isolation.
