A boom study of Analects had been launched from late Qing Dynasty to early Republic of China,in which Kang Youwei and Yang Shuda represented different roads. Yang focused on ancient and his notes were characteristic,which were divided into interpretation,exposition and argumentation. Kang and Yang standed in the progress position to interpretate Confucius’ideas. Kang prefered to note the text,so he was more daring.He always made use of Confucius to express his own thoughts. Which Yang prefered to prove the text,so he was more careful.He always tried to restore Confucius’ideas. Kang and Yang reconciled the attitude of Han and Song in academic problem. Kang prefered Han studies,which Yang prefered Song studies. That Six Classics explained me was Kang’s academic field which that I explained Six Classics was Yang’s. Both of the two notes of Analects had high academic value,whose research methods were desirable.The Notes of Analects by Kang had political value mainly which The Prove of Analects by Yang had academic value mainly.Both of them provided a whole Confucius for us.
