This thesis is part of the national“Twelfth Five-year Plan”for the Rural areas of national science and technology project, named“research and demonstration of the key technology integration of rural energy self-sustaining residential”.And it belongs to the project of“development and demonstration of monitoring and display platform of energy self-sustaining residential”,and the project number is 2013BAL01B04..BIM technology is a new stage in building the information technology of China’s construction industry, and has already begun to promote development in the country.It provides a new mode of production of the architectural design.In this article, through understanding of BIM technology, studies its application in the value and the way of architectural design.And through the platform of BIM related software to use the Revit Architecture software to create building information model.This article attempts from a technical perspective, the temple on the MiaoShang village Pit hospital information model as the research object, to explore for the purpose of upgrading. Through the data summary,spot-surveying,case study,comparative analysis and so on concrete way, on how to use the Revit Architecture software to create pit hospital building information model for a more detailed analysis and summary, and combined with BIM technology and a variety of analysis software.The application of BIM technology truly to pit hospital improve design process of the indoor environment, and help architects is convenient accurate and effective analysis of architectural space, component production, energy consumption analysis, etc, so as to better for the protection and development of traditional residence pit hospital form to provide a more effective way.Through systematic analysis of seeking to sort out a series of more effective improvement measures applied to update and protect Pit hospital.And provide a theoretical basis for the future use of simulation analysis based on its docking BIM technology, and lay the foundation for the establishment of information model warehouse of traditional houses.
