The great achievement made on the new emigrants literature and Chinese literary creation by Geling Yan in recent years has contributed to her remarkable literary status in overseas literature. Her works has won her several literary awards both at home and abroad, and while obtaining more and more readers, her works also attract eager concern and study in the academic circle. Geling Yan has received more and more strong attention from the pubic with her works been adapted into movies and TV dramas brought to TV screen, such as Aunt Dou Ho, The Flowers Of War and Coming Home, etc.Throughout Geling Yan’s novel’s creation, no matter what kind of themes she chooses, which field she uses for narrating the life stories of her heart, the female writing which is blended with the distinct and unique female views is always a spiritual red line that running through her works.This paper makes an narration on the significance and influence of Geling Yan’s female writing and the current researching situations from reading textbooks and collecting materials. It adopts the methods of social criticism, text analysis and feminism analysis, from the overall dimensions to tease the spiritual resources, female views and female images of Geling Yan’s novel writing. The full paper set her female writing as the cut-point and followed the study route of one part one total to largely explore and narrate the female writing images of her creative works from four aspects. On the first chapter, it has discussed the author’s developing background, cultural resources and the influence of army life and mixed marriage during the cultural revolution on her formation of female view by exploring her spiritual resources for creation. On the second chapter, by combing the features of her female views, to simply classify the female images in her works. The third chapter from the shape of the female images in her works, and sets the view of culture, history and territory as the extending point, to comprehensively study the shaping tracks of her female images and her female writing images. The fourth chapter analyzed the expressed artistic skills and language skills of female writing from the aspects of aesthetic orientation and artistic levels, and it narrated the inherent characteristics of her works, which has also reached to the study sublimation of the whole paper.
