The Study On "the Riots Of Hui" In Shannxi And Gansu Province In Tongzhi Age

“The riots of Hui” in Shannxi and Gansu Province which outbroke in the late Qing Dynasty Tongzhi age,now usually called “the uprising of Hui” in Shannxi and Gansu Province, is a major event in the history of our nation. Its long, large scale,wide spread range is rare in history, which has a profound impact on the national pattern in the northwest of China and the Central Asian region. In recent years, the academic circles have made some progress in the study of the event, but because of various reasons, there are still some problems in many aspects, and the research on some problems is not deep enough. Based on this, this paper uses the relevant historical documents, combined with the existing research results, to analyze them,and sound reasoning based on the truth, the current mainstream academic breakthrough in this event as part of the struggle of Modern Peasants in China against the Qing Dynasty, the system analysis of the outbreak of the historical background, to further explore the event the sequence of events, in-depth study of the nature and its historical function, so as to solve the why events occur, and in what form development and why in this form the development of these problems, in order to make a comprehensive study and objective evaluation of historical events. At the same time, it summarizes the revelation of the event, emphasizes the important role of national unity for national stability and social development.
