Based on the translation of the Technology and the Treatment of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, the report summarizes and analyzes the translation process of chapter threeThe Use of Technology in the Treatment of Autism and chapter fourTechnology, Autism, and Occupational Therapy.Domestic experts have made many achievements in the study of the treatment of children with autism so far. But the application of new technologies in autism treatment study is still in exploration.In the selected material, the author, with years of practical experience, makes a detailed introduction of new technologies and recommends application programs which are useful for autism treatment. Effective methods of treating autism are also discussed from the specialized angle. Therefore, the content of the material has great practicability.The report mainly consists of four parts. Part one is a brief description of the translation task, including the introduction of material source, the author and the book. Part two is translation process, consisting of the preparation for translation, difficulties in the translation process and text check,polish and finalization. Part three is the analysis of the translation cases from three aspects: morphology, syntax and context. The last part is the summary of translation process.The report tries to present the whole translation process. The translator mainly adopts literal translation with free translation as a supplementary translation method. Various translation skills are also adopted in it. The translator endeavors to make the sentences conform to Chinese expression habit after many revisions.
