Bird as an important part of traditional Chinese painting, representing a landscape painting, figure painting in terms of their subject matter more extensive and rich. Is a "flying creeping plant, landscape day situation." [1] describe the flora and fauna through bird to express the author’s true nature, ignited people’s yearning for a better life taste. In the process of development of the bird, the bird theme and meaning is constantly changing, and constantly expand and innovation. With modern highly developed information society, changing lifestyles, people’s aesthetic level also will be changed, there is growing concern to improve the quality of life and spiritual pursuit. Themes and forms of expression bird has gradually become more diversified. No longer just "Flowers and Birds" combination of traditional topics, but more closely related to real life themes appear in the artist’s works, "Still Life theme" bird is one of the typical representative. "Still Life theme" because of its strong flavor of life and a strong sense of the times and convey the unique charm by all the attention. In this society is full of restless factor, "Still Life theme" convey "static" and "prime" unique charm, aesthetic psychological level in line with the aesthetic needs of the public, then became a noticeable phenomenon in Chinese academic painting.I chose the creation of "Still Life theme" meticulous bird, this article mainly from the "Still Life theme" bird charm starting to talk about my graduation creation "Suri notes" series of topics, creative ideas, creative process, creative summary and reflection. Through the creation of contemporary bird bird can have a deeper understanding. More to explore the expression of contemporary subject matter, enriching the aesthetic needs of the public.
