Video enables the viewer to see the spot intuitively, which integrates the multiple forms of media, such as motion pictures, pictures, music, text, sound, and so on. Video beyond the function of text media, with abundant information and intuitiveness, it can provide the information that the text can not describe. While receiving the message, the audience was infected by the emotion.My graduate film The Underground Life has selected a theme to show the characteristics and advantages of the video reports, via independent interviews, filming and editing, The Underground Life tells a story about a mysterious underground hydropower station in the Southern region of Hunan Province, so that the audience can see the features of this hydropower station directly, and feel the hard working conditions and tough life underground.This article is the creation report of this documentary, it includes the basic information about my works and it has introduced the details about how to shoot and edit this film, and it contains my script. This article has published my shooting experience, and my further reflection.
