A Phonetic Study Of Yan Ping Yangtou Dialect

Yan Ping located in the south of Northern Min, Yan Ping Yang Tou dialect is the branch of Jien Ou dialect of northern Min dialect of Min dialect which is different from Jien Ou dialect, the representative dialect of northern Min dialect.because local Mandarin is used in Downtown and border on central Min dialect and eastern Min dialect, Yan Ping Yang Tou dialect is close to border dialect. This paper focus on phonetic system of Yan Ping Yang Tou dialect, and have detail intention on diachronic and synchronic aspects.The whole paper has concluded the phonetic system of Yan Ping Yang Tou dialect and has phonetic experimental on part of phenomena. Moreover, the table of initial and final and homephone table were made. The homephone table brought a benefit supplement to the rarely-used character on local dialect. Then, in form of tables, conclusions on phonetic feature and exception has been made after the comparative studies by two, which is between Yan Ping Yang Tou dialect and Guang Yun from ancient time to modern time, or modern time to ancient time.
