The Psychological Experience And Its Function Of Nostalgia The Comparison And Analysis Between The Three Generations

With the rapid development of society and the continuous change of the era, the pace of modern life continues to increase, different generations tend to look back on their old time and the past they experienced. So the nostalgic has become a kind of complex and habits.At present, the domestic public nostalgia surging, nostalgic psychology has become a common social phenomenon and popular psychological experience, therefore, in the context of Chinese culture, nostalgic psychology in-depth research and discussion makes sense have a significant value for psychologists.Under the background of Chinese culture, this study is based on the analysis of the generation perspective and the sample were selected according to age stratification.After selecting 60, 70, 70 as the research object, established a nostalgic pictures material library, providing a more scientific and effective research tool for follow-up study. Nostalgic experience is regarded as a kind of intangible goods, based on the method of objective chain theory, through the ladder depth interview method, to interview the subjects, exploring their nostalgia experience related emotional response, cognitive respondents, nostalgic experience and the meaning of them. Combined with the interview results and related documents, this research compiled nostalgic psychology experience scale, exploring the function of nostalgia, and further the localization of research. Provide a new perspective of nostalgia for domestic research while offer corresponding advice and guidance to nostalgic treatment in China.This research using interview method and questionnaire investigation, the main results were as follows:(1) the photos had good reliability and validity of, effectively applied to domestic related research in the field of nostalgia.(2) the degree of five different types of nostalgic pictures of are from medium to high level, gender and age I factors did not have a significant impact on nostalgic score.(3) after 60, 70, 80 after evaluation of nostalgic pictures after exist significant difference.(4) the outline dimension of nostalgic psychological experience interview outline is reasonable, suitable for this interview.(5) the three generations of nostalgic object involves the following seven aspects: typical scenario, a typical objects, games, toys, television, films, family members, relatives and friends.In particular, in the typical scenario of nostalgic object and typical items, games, toys, family members, relatives, there is no significant difference for 60, 70,80. However three generations have significant difference on film and television works, historical events, classmates playmate.(6) on the emotional cognition, the 60 s and 70 s cognitive experience ratio is significantly higher than the emotional response, there is no significant difference for 80. Specifically, in terms of emotional response and cognitive experience, three generations have significant differences.(7) on the nostalgic value meaning of psychological experience, generally speaking, 60, 70s’ perceived intrinsic value ratio is significantly higher than extrinsic value perception of intrinsic value and extrinsic value for 80 s have no significant difference.(8) in this study, the nostalgic mental experience scale formed by myself has 28 items including six dimensions: personal emotions, extrinsic value and intrinsic value, interpersonal, sensory experience and life state changes, and validity of questionnaire achieves surveying standard, which can be used as a standard measurement.(9) 60 s and 80s’ nostalgic psychological experience levels are higher than 70 s.(10) on the external value, interpersonal, lifestyle changes and nostalgic experience, there is no significant difference among 60 s 70s and 80 s. However in personal feelings and intrinsic value dimensions, there exists significant difference.(11) different gender, culture, monthly income have significant differences according to nostalgic psychological experience scale and all the dimensions.(12) There is a significant interaction effects between generation and monthly income level.(13) nostalgia psychological experience has a positive impact on social support and subjective well-being, social support plays a partial intermediary role between psychological experience and subjective well-being. To some extent, it shows that the psychological experience of nostalgia helps to improve the social support and subjective wel-being of the individual.
