Study On The Relationship Of Central Executive Function, Fluid Intelligence And Nerve Types

Until now many researchers have been study the relationship between the central executive function and fluid intelligence. And the processing of these abilities has always been a hot spot both in Brain Science and neuroscience. But there are few studies focus on the relationship between these two abilities and the general characteristics of neural activity. Nerve Types is a part of personality psychological, and it mainly focus on the difference characteristics of neural active. 80·8 Nerve Type Test Scale is an effective measurement of neural activity, so we use 80·8 Nerve Type Test Scale as the measurement of the nervous type and 3 executive function tasks and Raven’s Advanced Progressive Matrices to explore the nerve relationship between central executive and general fluid intelligence.In study one we conducted in 93 participants performed in 3 executive tasks and 80·8 Nerve Type Test Scale to explore the relationship between the executive function and general characteristics of neural activity. And in study two we conducted in 121 participants performed in Raven’s Advanced Reasoning test and 80·8 Nerve Type Test Scale to explore the relationship between the fluid intelligence and general characteristics of neural activity.The main results from the research are as follows:(1) The updating function is significantly impacted by the strength and flexibility of the neural activity.(2) The Inhibition function is significantly impacted by the strength, flexibility and inhibition of the neural activity.(3) The switching function is significantly impacted by the strength, flexibility and inhibition of the neural activity.(4) The excitement level of the neural activity can significantly impacted the correct rate of most of the cognitive operations task.(5) The fluid intelligence is significantly impacted by the strength, flexibility and inhibition of the neural activity.(6) 80·8 Nerve Type Test Scale can effectively distinguish the individual’s nerve type, and this scale can effectively measure individual’s cognitive ability.
