Working memory refers to the temporary storage and processing of information inperforming cognitive tasks in the process of the limited capacity of the cognitivesystem. Since the concept of working memory was proposed, it has attracted more andmore attention, working memory is an important topic in the field of cognitiveresearch.Fluid intelligence is relative to the crystal intelligence is also called generalintelligence, general fluid intelligence (gF), which refers to the ability to solve newproblems of reasoning, not dependent on existing knowledge, namely the individualperformance in solving the new problem ability, abstract. Study on working memory,association learning and fluid intelligence is a hot topic in recent years.Associativelearning as a concerned components have significant predictive effect on fluidintelligence have been paid more and more attention by domestic and foreignresearchers.Previous studies showed that, working memory and fluid intelligence are closelyrelated, as the main components of working memory, what is the role of centralexecutive system in the relationship between working memory and fluid intelligence?Is different associative learning ability of individuals on the central executive functiontasks, fluid intelligence tasks performance difference?In order to further investigate the association learning, the central executivesystem and fluid intelligence, this study through150students in the China TaikangCounty of Henan Province, the second grade of junior middle school associationlearning ability test, filter out high packet, low group each of43people, a total of86people. Then on the86subjects of the central executive system function, Including theupdating function,the inhibition function and the conversion function, fluidintelligence performance were investigated. The main research different associativelearning ability of individual existence in updating, inhibition, conversion function andfluid intelligence differences, and the relationship between associative learning, thecentral executive system and fluid intelligence.Mainly using the statistical independent samples T test, correlation analysis,regression analysis and structural equation model analysis method. The conclusions ofthis study are as follows:(1)Different associative learning ability of individuals in the central executivesystem updating function task performance significantly.(2)There are significant differences between different associative learning ability of individual performance in inhibition function task of central executive system.(3)There are significant differences between different associative learning abilityof individual performance in the conversion function of central executive system tasks.(4)There are significant differences between different associative learning abilityof individual performance in fluid intelligence test tasks.(5) Regression analysis shows that, the central executive system updating functionare important contributors to complex associative learning ability, which inhibitionfunction or conversion function, predictive effect on the academic achievement ofassociative learning ability in the regression analysis is not significant.(6) Based on the structural equation model that associative learning, the centralexecutive system respectively both play an important role into predict the fluidintelligence. Among them, the central executive function of fluid intelligenceforecasting system is higher than that of associative learning effect. They both canexplain part of variation of fluid intelligence.(7) From the analysis of correlation of matrix, we found that there was significantcorrelation between updating function and associative learning task. No significantcorrelation between inhibition function and associative learning related, eitherconversion function and associative learning.
