In the process of second language acquisition in which research is generally believed that learning strategy plays a very important role and reading strategy as an important part in the field of learning strategy research is the major study of this article. From the point of research in recent years, the study on reading strategy of students’ who learning Chinese as a second language only covers a small number in the related field, and study devoting into the view of the preparatory students who use reading strategies when study in China is a blank. Since Metacognitive put forward, it set off a heat wave in some related fields in the world like education and psychology. Scholars and educators are looking forward to training students form the good habits of metacognitive awareness, and improving the effectiveness of learning during their learning process. Based on a questionnaire from the preparatory foreign students of Central China normal university, this article investigates the use of reading strategies and the general characteristics when they make use of the reading strategies, together with the influence of certain individual factors on reading strategies so as to explore the distribution of their own and lack of Metacognitive awareness; At the same time, we analysis the correlation between the case of students using reading strategies and their reading scores in HSK4. After that, we introduce the nature and characteristics of classroom teaching about reading, and giving related Suggestions according to different content processing, all above require teachers’ great afford. On this condition, we hope this article can give some enlightenment to the educators who teach reading part of Chinese as a foreign language.
