| With the development of science and technology, the media has been more and more involved in people’s life, and people also use which to meet the needs of their interpersonal communication, environment monitoring, and entertainment; and which is also imperceptibly influencing us. With the development of the technology of film and television production and the expansion of the theme, movie is becoming more and more appealing to both refined and popular taste. Because of the tension of young people’s work and life, the movie’s own advantage makes it more popular than television entertainment. The author mainly study on the image called "tough girl" in the female movie. The main identity of the "tough girl" in the female movie set with older women, office lady, drift artist and single mother; these images of "tough girl" have common character, which are independent personality, strong heart, optimistic, courageous act and emotional pursuit of love. The movie creators use various audio-visual means to shape these images of "tough girl". The image of "tough girl" in female movies shows female consciousness of gender equality, and creates a discourse space for female, which is good for the self indentify of modern women and spreading positive energy. However, there is still some defects on shaping the image of "tough girl", such as badly or excessively shaping will make a wrong guide to the audience and negative impact to our society. At the same time, the shaping of the image of "tough girl" is still a lack of a family role. Through the analysis, the author found that "tough girl" is a protection in fighting with male power actually. Whether in the movie or in reality, it is very hard to break the difficult position which "tough girl" faces, they need more freedom and more equal treatment given from the society. |
