A Study On The Phenomenon Of "The Night Writing"

The night is the concept of many writers often mentions,they choose to write in the night,or the compare their own creative environment as the night.In fact, both the real night, and the metaphor of the night,what the writers seek is the realm which is no order,lonely,true,full of imagination,it is a state of isolation and mysterious,is also a kind of pursuit of transcendence and sacred.Therefor the connotation of "the night writing"is not just the time of the night,but the night of the heart which breeds from the time,is the realm of night like one places himself into the darkness of the night while writing.is the studying about the philosophy of night of works.This paper combines phenomenology,psychology of art and literature with text reading,from the link between the night and writers and works,and the relationship between the writer’s writing psychology and philosophy of the text connotations, to explore the unique value "the night writing".After interpreting the concept of "the night writing",the paper chooses three representative writer to analyze concretely"the night writing" phenomenon.The first is someone like Duras, will be held in the darkness itself, writing the despair and nothingness of life. This type of writers voluntarily struggle in the cage of the night,seems to be,this is the original meaning of life.The second is someone like Dostoevsky,although in the night, spare no efforts to break the dark night; Being despair, but still has a will of construction.This type of writers synthesizes both sides of the paradox together, continuously back and forth between dark and bright.The third type of writers is like Novalis,darkness is ancient dwellings,is a dream home.The night itself is eternal and divine,they are willing to fall asleep in the night.These three stypes of writers on the writing of the night with their meanings,namely the deep deapair,the construction of deep despair, and from which find the meaning itself. But consistently, they all give their soul to the night,reveal the deep soul and cruel reality,they believe that the acme of the dark is true of light.They write all the darkness to pursue a ray of light.This paper mainly includes three aspects:the first part is the time dimension of "the night writing".Namely,starting with phenomenon that the writers writing in the night,combining the writers’ discourse about the night writing with the philosophy of time,from the self-involved,stretching and temporalization three aspects to discuss.The second part is the psychological dimension of "the night writing".That to say, why the night writing phenomenon appears, and what the impact the night writing has on writers’ psychology is discussed.The writer’s psychological structure,such as the sense of loneliness,personal domination,mystery,contributes to the night writing,and at the same time the night influences and deepening the writers’ original psychological structure.The third part is the philosophy dimension of the "the night writing".That is, from the unique value of "the night writing" and writers’ life proposition to analysis, performance as:constructing order in the emptiness of the night,highlighting the reality in the absurd night,questing the meaning of life in absolute darkness."The night writing" is not suitable for each writer,is also not universal,what it represents is one kind of writer."The night writing" phenomenon is the study of some kind of writer’s psychological mechanism,starting with the phenomenon,analyzing writers’ psychological structure,and the specific meanings of writer’s philosophy of life and works.The thesis deal with this phenomenon is just the beginning, hope that has certain enlightening significance on the psychological studying of literary writing.
