The Viola Concerto in D Major of Franz Anton Hoffmeister, as one of the core repertoire of classical period concertos,is required by many international viola competitions also. It enjoys a very important status and artistic value in the field of viola concertos,deserve to further study. The main part of this thesis consists of three chapters:in the first chapter,the author introduces Hoffmeister and his other musical works, and the version of this Concerto. In the second chapter, the author analysis the three movement of this composition form structure, music texture, harmony changes in detail, and in the third chapter we will combine some eighteenth century representative instrumental and performance literature to discuss how to practice in some special music vocabulary.In addition to the main parts of the thesis, there are two other parts:the preface and the conclusion. In the preface the author summarizes the topic basically, explaining the reason for research on this thesis, and the present situation about this topic in China. In the conclusion,the author tries to make a brief summary of the whole dissertation. |
