Trust is not only the Foundation of building good interpersonal relationships, but also the social symbol for individual, Trust is an important research project in management, sociology, psychology and other important areas. Studies have shown that the level of interpersonal trust of college students showed a downward trend, however recent years, life threatened events caused by the blind trust has continued to occur. This paradox led researchers to re-examine interpersonal trust, In the process of humans judge themselves and forming a mental representation of the world, in addition to this explicit, controlled process, if there is also implicit, automated process. In addition, the gender difference has been the focus of social science research, and there are gender differences in the areas of decision-making, consumption, international relations, social cognition, social integration. In the study of interpersonal relationships, the gender will have a significant impact on aggressive behavior, prosocial behavior, interpersonal communication and interpersonal trust. However, previous research on the gender impact of interpersonal trust was controversial. For this reason, this study measured by implicit and explicit ways to probe the existence of interpersonal trust and probe the influence of gender property on implicit and explicit interpersonal trust.Experiment 1 used the interpersonal trust scales and the single category implicit association test,87 college students at Ningxia University as subjects, using single factor completely randomized experimental design, exploration the existence of interpersonal and the relationship between them. Experiment 2 used the trust game,99 college students at Ningxia University as subjects,2 (trustee gender:male, female) X 2 (trust gender:male, female) between subjects experimental design, exploration of gender property effects on explicit interpersonal trust of college students. Experiment 3 used Semantic Misattribution Procedure,81 college students at Ningxia University as subjects,2 (trustee gender:male, female) X 2 (trust gender:male, female) between subjects experimental design, exploration of gender property effects on implicit interpersonal trust of college students.Results found:(1) Confirm the existence of implicit trust, and the correlation between implicit trust and explicit trust is low, they are two relatively independent structures.(2) Whether implicit or explicit inner level, The gender of trustee will have a significant impact on the levels of interpersonal trust,women are more likely to be trusted.
