Since ancient times, the literati are pursuit for "implication", but "implication" had been established as a poetic term until the Song Dynasty. Based on the Song poetry commentaries in Li Dai Shi Hua and Li Dai Shi Hua Xu Bian, this paper sorts out the relevant the theory of "implication", and explores these theories’significance for literati to write poems, as well its contribution meaning of Song Poetry’s features of the cnintroversion and introspection. In order to better interpret "implication", the author learns from the explanation of "implication" in Wang Long’s paper, and then understands it as "implication righteousness" and "implication taste". The former is the poets to make poems with multiple meanings by using the rhetoric devices of allusion and Lian zi, the latter is the style showed by poetic language, that is to say, it is often said that is the "taste". This paper focuses on the research of the two understandings:The first part is an introduction to this paper, mainly introduces the significance, research status and research methods of "implication", and the definitions of "implication righteousness" and "implication taste".The second part is the first chapter, mainly discusses the establishment of "implication" in Song Poetry commentaries. Firstly, the author summarizes the "implication" theory before Song Dynasty. Secondly, she analyzes the reasons that "implication" as a poetic term established and formed informed in Song Dynasty so as to further study "implication".The third part is the second chapter, mainly discusses the Song poetry commentaries’ aesthetic pursuit to "implication righteousness". This paper firstly analyzes the Song poetry commentaries how to guide the literati to pursue "implication righteousness" in the poetry. Secondly, the author analyze the creation practice to pursue "implication righteousness" regarding titleless poem in the Song poetry as the Song poetry commentaries.The fourth part is the third chapter, mainly discusses the the Song poetry commentaries’aesthetic pursuit to "implication taste". Firstly, the author analyzes the poem’s characteristics which the representative literati in Song Dynasty. Next, she discusses the Song poetry commentaries’"tasteless and insipid" to the Song Poetry and and the criticism of "Su Huang xiqi", and then points out the corresponding solutions to the problem that mentioned just.The last part is the conclusion of this paper, which is that "implication" has been used as an aesthetic standard of poetry in the Song poetry commentaries according to the above four parts. It is that this standard guide the literati to pay more attention to the expression of meaning in the creation of poetry, and contributes to the formation of the Song Poetry’s features of cnintroversion and introspection.
