The Theory Of Chi Zijian Animal Narration Of The Novel

Chinese contemporary animal novels have yielded progress by leaps and bounds in the past two decades. Animal-related works have also become increasingly abundant, and the representative animal novels include Shen Shixi’s Lang Wang Meng and Lie Hu, Jiangrong’s Lang Tu Teng, Chen Yingsong’s Bao Zi Zui Hou De Wu Dao, Jia Pingwa’s Huai Nian Lang, Ye Guangcen’s Gou Xiong Shu Juan, Lao Hu Da Fu, Yan Geling’s Ci Xing De Cao Di, Yang Zhijun’s Zang Ao, Li Kewei’s Zhong Guo Hu, and Yenan’s Ge Zi Shu, etc. The image of a number of animals have been as active as the blowout in Chinese literature. Due to the development of novels, in which animals are the center, animal narration is equipped with more profound and abundant cultural connotation.Chi Zijian’s novel on the ecological level is currently less attention, but ecological is an important focus on Chi Zijian. Animal narration in his novels is selected as the breakthrough in this paper, which attempts to elaborate the unique significance, connotation and form of narration of his novels.In the first chapter, the ideological origin of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels is elaborated. Furthermore, the spiritual origin of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels is expounded from three aspects, namely, the animal ideology, regional culture and exotic culture of Chinese literature.In the second chapter, the theme and connotation of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels are set forth. In terms of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels, the reflection of human nature is explored from the perspective of life, the life existence, and the coexistence of human beings and animals under ecological unbalance are explored from the perspective of ecology respectively. Moreover, the awe-stricken attitude that Chi Zijian holds towards life on the land is expounded.In the third chapter, the means of artistic expression adopted in animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels are expounded. The form of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels is analyzed specifically with the combined text from the perspective of animal narration and the transformation of the narration mode.In the conclusion part, the phenomenon and significance of animal narration in Chi Zijian’s novels are summarized.
