Pottery Tableware Design Research Based On Blessing Patterns In Rural Areas Of Beijing

The research takes blessing cultureas foundation, based on the analysis of traditional Chinese blessing culture and Beijing blessing decorative art case studies, using the theory of symbolic semantic research methods based on industrial design. In the analysis of the semantic characteristics of the blessing culture in China and the classification of the blessing patterns in Beijing, the research sums up thedecorative art forms and ways, semantics and function of blessing culture of Beijingand analyzes the symbolic meaning and characteristics of pottery tableware, the blessing of Beijing rural pottery forms and methods and symbolic meaning is then applied to the design of pottery tableware, designing awhole set of pottery tableware withcultural characteristics of the prayer andthe modern aesthetic requirements.Design practice in ceramic tableware modelling using ‘crock’ design concept, inherited the circle of ‘harmony’ meaning and favorable factors, exclude round brought about adverse effects.The three part of the stack into one and a pair of chopsticks groove design, convenient to use, to avoid unnecessary embarrassment.
