The Study On The Style Design Of Pottery Tableware In Modern Mongol Nationality

In the long-term historical development course, the Mongol nationality formed its special cooking culture. Dishes and tableware are two important constituent parts in its cooking culture. But for study of cooking culture with Mongol national features, people focused on the dishes innovation and ignored the development and utilization of the tableware with Mongol national features to some extent. Although some restaurants have realized the importance of the tableware with national features for highlighting the features of national repast, in actual operation, they didn’t do like this for many reasons. In the market, most tableware is made of porcelain with nearly same shapes and decoration and they didn’t show the real features of the tableware in Mongolian nationality. So, the innovation for the tableware of Mongolian nationality became the problem needing solving urgently.Based on the forming process of the traditional tableware in Mongolian nationality, in the paper, among the northern nomadic people in ancient China who created the tableware with Mongolian nationality together, the writer chose the nations which had more influences in the tableware forming process of Mongolian nationality such as Qidan people, Dangxiang people and Jurchen. The writer also chose the traditional culture and art from the Mongolian Nationality. Based on the appearance order in the history and the dynasties they existed, the writer discussed the design elements which can be used for reference for the pottery tableware in modern Mongolian nationality.In the paper, the writer also stressed the handmade pottery spirit in the vessel design, which explained the charm of pottery tableware form another aspect. Combined modern design philosophy in the ceramic art, by using traditional pottery handicraft, the writer hope people can design and manufacture the pottery tableware which suits the nation aesthetic appreciation. When we tasted the cuisines with national features we can enjoy the charm of handwork pottery tableware with the Mongolian national style, which can make us have deeper feeling and understanding to modern prairie culture.
