Cultural Anthropology Analysis On Zhaxidawa’s Literary Works

In the twentieth century, there are some Chinese writers focus on depicting culture, and cultural anthropology connotation were showed from their articles. For example, Shen Congwen did a type of national records culture writing to the region of western Hunan society; Chi Zijian paid close attention to the strong implication Ewenki culture and aims to enriched it; Ye Guangqin had a certain appearance for Manchu customs and lifestyles, explore their cultural relics, track their worship and belief. This dissertation tires to make a discussion on Zhaxidawa’s literary works about the local knowledge of Tibet, and then analysis its cultural anthropology implication.Zhaxidawa is a striking writers in contemporary Chinese literature. His famous novels like Xizang, yinmisuiyue、Xizang, jizaipishengjieshangdehun and essay Guhailanjingfan relate to the Tibetan, including their live environment, religious faith, funeral ceremony,marital love and so on. Zhaxidawa’s work present to people that Tibet is a lands of mystery.From the view of cultural anthropology, we can study the works of Zhaxidawa in a new way. Firstly, the cultural anthropology implication of Zhaxidawa’s work reflect in records all kinds of the Tibetan’s lifestyles. Zhaxidawa uses ethnography to explain the Tibetan’s living conditions、producing style and social organization structure. Secondly, the cultural anthropology implication of Zhaxidawa’s work performance on the depth of imitation of the Tibetan religious culture. Zhaxidawa is concerned about religious, especially take notice on Tibetan Buddhist. Buddhists believe the theory of reincarnation and samsara, they believe the triratna、sadhana drubtab and shambala myth too. Zhaxidawa also pay attention to Bon, the description of the Tibetan original religion. It mainly involves the concept of God 、universe、 time and space. Further more, the cultural anthropology implication of Zhaxidawa’s work present on Tibetan folk custom. In Zhaxidawa’s articles, there are many interesting things, like marriage 、festival and funeral, they all have special folk meaning. The concept of revenge、the settlement of civil dispute are also full of national characteristics. Whether from the literary or culture, Zhaxidawa’s writing for the cultural anthropology have positive significance which not only excavate and present Tibetan culture, but also enrich the connotation of literature and expand the space of literary expression.
