Research On Relationship Between Epic Tiger Knight And Teaching Of Chinese Culture In Georgia

Career of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in Georgia has been developing fast since the first Confucius Institute---Confucius Institute at Tbilisi Free University was founded in 2010.In this thesis,we will analyze and introspect situation of Chinese culture’s teaching in Georgia, and put forward one new approach to develop methods of teaching Chinese culture in Georgia: Based on research about Georgian national epic Tiger Knight,research and know more about Georgian people’s personalities and ideas,which should also be contrasted with Chinese culture.What is more,these difference and similarities of Georgian and Chinese culture should be used together with “Contrast Analysis Method” and “Experience Culture Teaching Method” to benefit career of teaching Chinese culture in Georgia.The main subjects which will be discussed in this thesis include:1.The core and special significance of Tiger Knight to Georgian,which will show the necessity and importance of Tiger Knight to career of teaching Chinese culture.2.Georgian people’s main personalities and conceptions showed by Tiger Knight,which should be contrasted with Chinese culture.The difference and similarities of Georgian and Chinese culture should be chosen to be applied into teaching of Chinese culture in Georgia.3.According to analysis of teaching case,discuss about how to apply “Tiger Knight”to benefit Chinese cultural teaching in Georgia.4.Explore and stress the significance of foreign classical works to teaching Chinese and Chinese culture all over the world.About the value of this thesis,we can conclude as follows:1.According to research results of Tiger Knight, we highlight the significance of Tiger Knight to know about Georgian Culture.we appeal to Chinese people to research more about Georgian culture by their nation epic Tiger Knight.2.To stress the significance of “Contrast Analysis Method” and “Experience Culture Teaching Method” to Chinese cultural teaching.And,discuss about how to apply these teaching methods together with foreign classical works.3.To appeal to workers of teaching Chinese and culture to foreigners to pay much attention and research about classical works which can show each country’s culture.It will benefit career of Chinese and Chinese cultural teaching a lot.
