In the court of the Yuan Dynasty, the struggle of power was concentrated in the Khan’s right of inheritance.Based on previous research, the author tries to solve a problem by combing collected data what dominated the choice of successors, and how it was changed before and after the force. Through analyzing the dispute of the inheritance of Khans, the author thinks that the power of dominating the inheritance of Khans is not static in the Yuan Dynasty. From the accession of Ogedei to Kublai beating Ariq B?ke, the leading force was basically imperial authority included the clansmen and the empresses. The post-Kublai era of Cheng Zong and Ying Zong Emperor, Mongolian nobility played a decisive role in the choice of candidates. It was dominated by warlord ministers during Tai Ding and Wen Zong Emperor period. Low-born officials, however, were gradually becoming the dominant force in the Ning Zong and Emperor Yuan Shun’s ruling. Overall, there was a shift of dominance force from the clique of Xungui to low-born officials. And it should be noted that the right to rule supreme struggle is a matter of contention interests, in order to obtain the ruling interests, different interest groups both grappling and bonding to each other for the common interests.
