Numerous female images are shaped in Zang and Han classical dramas and in these female images, Dou E in Snow in Midsummer have the typicality, who both have similar revolt process and different choices of personality. There is larger comparability in them. This paper, beginning with the play content, makes the comparison one by one from art gimmick and the shaping of the image.Numerous female images are shaped in Zang and Han classical dramas and in these female images, Snang Sa in Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Dou E in Snow in Midsummer have the typicality, who both have similar revolt process and different choices of personality. There is larger comparability in them. This paper, beginning with the play content, makes the comparison one by one from the art form of female image-building.The Introduction describes the background and source of topic selection, the research methods, purpose and significance, domestic research status and explanation of the origin of Zang and Han dramas, and introduces the research status of Zang drama and Yuan poetic drama, Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Snow in Midsummer. Most academic comparison researches to Zang and Han dramas focus on the comparison of overall art form and the works comparison with similar contents while there is less comparison to the individual female image in Zang and Han dramas. In this part, the author defines the innovation of this research, that is to carry out deep comparison research to Snang Sa and Dou E from the point of female image.In chapter I, it makes overall comparison to the female image in Zang and Han classical dramas. It is divided into two sections. The first section introduces the image of princess and common girl in Zang classical dramas with Zang drama of Eight Traditions as the example; the second section introduces the image of vestal virgin, heroic women and chivalrous woman in Han classical drama with Yuan poetic drama as the example and then introduces the comparison of female image in Zang and Han dramas with Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Snow in Midsummer as the example.In chapter II, it carries out the comparison to Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Snow in Midsummer from the point of artistic method. It is divided into three sections and the first section begins with drama structure and makes the comparison to the two works from the aspects of theme, conflict setting and character relations; The second section compares and analyzes the escalating conflicts in the two dramas; The third section makes contrastive analysis to the building of underprivileged women from the common character, maintenance of the family and awakening of female consciousness.In chapter III, it makes the comparison one by one to the heroine Snang Sa in Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Dou E in Snow in Midsummer from the point of female image. This chapter is divided into five sections, which analyzes the difference and generality on the image setting of Snang Sa and Dou E from the six aspects of the life experience from beloved daughter to child bride, unfortunate marriage of toleration and losing of husband, dramatic conflict of human feelings and ethics, unremitting revolt after the self-awakening, perfect ending of self-actualization.In chapter IV, it analyzes the cultural psychology of Zang and Han dramas showed in Snang Sa Vod Vbum and Snow in Midsummer. It is divided into three sections. The first section compares the cultural psychology in works of Zang and Han dramas; the second section analyzes the cause of different cultural psychology and the third section introduces the influence of different cultural psychology to works.The conclusion summarizes the four chapters of the paper.
