With the development of economy and the opening of social culture women’s films are booming that take reflecting the living condition of woman as a theme. And the portrayal of woman is becoming more and more diversified in the colourful films. The female director’s performance is very good at the response of audience and box office.Female directors are no longer bound by gender. The take their own female perspective as a advantage deferent from the male director to create unconstrained. They express their self desire bravely,and put their self understanding and thinking of life into the films.They portray many vivid and thoughtful female images through depicting the exquisite and beautiful world in a woman’s inner world. Xu Jing Lei has his space in chinese new generation directors becase her scroll temperament, distinctive image style, aesthetic symbol of performance and a deep insight into women’s consciousness. The purpose of this paper is to explore the expression of female consciousness in Xu Jinglei’s films and analysis the transformation under the trend of commercialization. The purpose is to construct an equal and harmonious world through encouraging women to get rid of the shackles of the male dominated, establishing an independent, independent, equal self-awareness.This article is divided into seven parts. The introduction describes the research background of this paper and combes the research status of Xu Jinglei and summarized in detail. Then it discusses the significance of this topic from two aspects of reality and theory. It forms a delicate challenge and deconstruction to the male discourse and the patriarchal system.The second chapter analysis the expression of the female consciousness in the family from "my father and I" and the expression of female consciousness in love from "A letter from a strange woman". It let the audience think about women how to balance career and family relations from "Du Lala promotion" and “Close enemies”. It explores how to choo se when the gap between the ideal and the reality in "Dream into reality".The third chapter analysis the expression of female consciousness in Xu Jinglei’s films in order to help other women directors such as the narrative motif and gentleness,plain and simple narrative style, the image of female consciousness, fine smart lens desig n and relieve the narrative rhythm.The fourth chapter analysis the insufficient in Xu Jinglei’s films. The first quarter tell s that Xu Jinglei’s film is too fairy tale. It keeps from talking about the real "Jiachou. And it acts left the outward appearance of truth, goodness and beauty, that dispels the depth of the real life. The second section tells the the dislocation of women’s rights consciousness and the expression. Xu Jinglei still can not escape the stereotype of Electra complex. And female characters also become "the presence of the absent". The third section points out t hat the new is lack of perception. The "Indoor drama" way is too innovative that let the au dience loudly. The fourth section discusses the drawbacks of director identity. One side th e self directed limits the role of Xu Jinglei’s own play. On the other hand it let the other ac tors to Xu Jinglei, that make the performance style single. The fifth section discusses the c ommercial atmosphere is too strong. Xu Jinglei conform to the trend of the market. But it is excessive packaging that make Lackluster performance Aesthetics. The hard coming in of a large number of commercial advertisements reduces the artistic level of the work.The fifth chapter affirms the value of Chinese women’s films. Feminism is like a ligh t that lead a woman’s life and also the life of the public. On the other hand it prospects for the future development of women’s films embrace hope. The traditional cultural values an d moral norms make the director willing but unable. We look forward to in the near future that the directors can solve the market problems as soon as possible, and shoot a film that really has a sense of female consciousness to create a more inspiring image of women.The conclusion part of the this paper it analysis the value of Xu Jinglei’s femaleConsciousness. Xu Jinglei’s film has a strong feminist aesthetic characteristics. It Shows women’s consciousness through the lensto gains more power of discourse for women. On the other hand it pointes out the larger transformation of front and back style.Her films are becoming more and more typed, commercialization and mainstreaming. And the quality of her films has slipped. We hope Xu Jinglei continuous learn to break through the bottleneck, and find the perfect fit between business and art, and take a more feminist idea works.
