The Book Of Songs Of Verification From The Vision Of Music And Folk Customs

The research object of this article is based on The Book of Songs. The specific research idea is: firstly, from the view of "regional"(In the following article "regional" is refers to the countries that to the east and west of the Wang city) to verify the corresponding relationship between the place names which are in The Book of Songs and the administrative divisions about today. Secondly, to classify and count the melody styles and the distribution of musical instrument along with the national folk customs in the countries which are to the east and west of the Wang city. The author only to proved the music and folk customs of Zhou Dynasty how is reflect in the regional of The Book of Songs.This article will be divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction. Review the research situation、research purpose and research significance and something else about The Folk Song.The second part is the body part, there are three chapters in total.1、In the first chapter to verify the corresponding relationship between the place names which are in The Book of Songs and the administrative divisions about today. First, let the city as the center will divide 15 geographical locations into east and west two parts; Second, on the basis of the first step use predecessors’ research achievements to reorganize the place names of the east and west parts, define that when the names appear on the map; Third, verify the corresponding relationship between the place names and the administrative divisions about today.2、In the second chapter, according to the geographical distribution to classify the musical forms and musical instruments of fifteen national customs. First, define the standards of classification about the musical forms and musical instruments in The Book of Songs. Second, on the basis of the standards which Yang Yinliu defined, this article showed that there are four kinds of musical forms in The Book of Songs. These four kinds can also be divided into twelve(the author analysis these four kinds not only include eight varieties which Mr. Yang have defined before,we can also add four kinds to it, so there are twelve varieties in total). Third, according to different kinds of musical forms, and to comparison folk customs differences in various areas.3、In the third chapter, according to the principle that the adjacent areas have the similar poetry styles, the article teased eleven kinds of folk customs in The Book of Songs.What’s more, the author tried to sort out the internal relation between folk customs and music in different areas. First, The folk song in folk areas customs include eleven sorts which are production, transportation, housing, food, clothing, aesthetic, singing and dancing, worship, sacrifice, marriage and fertility; Second, according to the folk custom’s categories, to plan the poems in every category which appear in The folk song as a whole, and then explicate the typical folk poems; and to comparison folk customs differences in various areas.The third part is the conclusion. combined with the first two chapters, The author draws the music and folk customs of the Zhou Dynasty which is reflected “wind” difference in the regional of The Book of Songs. That is east region of the Wang city contains “The decadent music”, mainly for the “Praise and Satire”; west region of the Wang city contains the “Zhou tone”, mainly for the “Sing the Praises of”.
