A Contrastive Study Of Life-preserving Proverbs In Chinese And Uygur Language From The Perspective Of Culture

Proverbs, an important form of the oral culture of all ethnic groups, embody the unique concept of the national cultures. Its plentiful content is with obvious customs and is also the simple conclusion summarized from the substantial and spiritual experience during the long-lasted history and the progress of the society of ethnic groups. The health proverb is kind of plain cognition for life, medicine, health and diet. We try to analyze the similarities and differences to preserve one’s health between Chinese and Uyghur proverbs, from the perspective of culture, thus get enlightened to translate and further understand the ordinary theories to keep in good health in virtue of the Chinese and Uyghur proverbs, and finally push forward the communication and blending of ethnic groups in the facet of public health.
