A Study On A Series Of Traditional Chinese Realistic Paintings Of Lotus Pond

Lotus has its unique charm that loved by the people since ancient time.It appears not only in literature but also an important part of the performance of many artists. It became an important target carrier that painters express their feelings and spiritual sustenance. Meanwhile, more countless classic works of lotus appear in the history. Because of my growth environment and my special love to lotus, so I have a series research of lotus as the theme of Meticulous painting.This paper is mainly divided into the following parts: Firstly, the strong impact of “Lotus culture” on the creation is briefly introduced, especially, describes the impact on the creation of “Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting Lotus Pond”, which comes from the lotus works of outstanding masters in ancient time; Secondly, the study on Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting Lotus Pond is discussed concretely in combination with my own creation practice and feelings. This part is the key point of this paper, which consists of three parts: painting lively things, interpreting implied meaning and artistic conception and the process of creation. The last part of this paper is about my thoughts and the insufficient in this creation.The purpose of this paper is to perfect my theoretical knowledge and to direct my own creation through theory, at the same time, through a series of Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting Lotus Pond, my ode to the elegance of lotus is expressed,and the similar feeling is expected to be aroused from viewers. What’s more,people’s love of nature and perception of live are inspired. So people will improve their personality and ideality on the basis of the noble quality of lotus.
