With the convening of the central Forum on literature and art, a new round of cultural and artistic practice is processing fiercely. As one of the content of development of the literary, art creation has gradually attracted people’s attention.People from all ethnic groups contribute to promoting the prosperity and development of the new era of literature and art, heritage of outstanding culture, and to spreading the spirit of Chinese aesthetics in different forms and with different advantages of resources.This paper expounds the development of oil painting of Xinjiang Tajik folk customs, on the basis of Zhao Peizhi, who won a gold medal on his work "blessing from the plateau, 5.19 national memory" on the 11 th national art exhibition. It also clarifies the characteristics of oil painting with Tajik styles. Besides, this paper will analyze the style, formation and school of this kind of oil painting, as well as the problems while creating. And also, this paper will put forward some new thinking to the topics of painting in the new era, search deeply into the spiritual impact of this theme to the author. While creating the oil paintings, what kind of themes are needed to express both spirits and souls drives the artists to find new themes, so that a correspondence between the author’s mind and his theme can be achieved.Theme can not decide the success or failure of the painting. It gives people the idea, the spirit, the source of painting. The language of the painting’s color, the way of expression, the method of painting creation, and the theory of painting all need to find a theoretical support, why do people want to engage in art? What does painting do? What kind of spirit it expresses? So as to find the answers to these questions,artists find the themes. This paper expounds to the author’s field investigation in the Taxkorgan County about the plateau environment, honest sentiments, a deeper understanding of the characters, sentiment analysis artists to Tajik customs, natural landscape, and oil painting creation. This paper also explores oil painting’s national spirit connotation and era background, explores the creation of value, and make it as a platform for the development of Xinjiang oil painting creation. Through the creation and painting, do some research on mind shock which painting of Tajik folk customs brings to me. Combine the folk customs theme and oil painting creation as a unity, these works of cultural heritage is inseparable from the foreshadowing of the minority folk customs and folk traditional culture, also can not be separated from the support of traditional painting theory and techniques. Only the traditional skills playa solid part in mining and inheriting the traditional culture based on constant innovation, will have greater breakthrough. Therefore Xinjiang oil painting creation should have a deeper level exploration in the subject matter and the technique innovation aspect. This paper regards the Tajik folk customs as the subject, and explore the status of oil painting, the content of theme, styles and forms, and analyzes and summarize the present situation and development direction of the oil painting creation, and puts forward the corresponding thinking.
