Xinjiang has a vast area. It is a region which is multiracial and has rich and colorful life, mysterious and changeful sceneses,It also has deep culturel accumulation. With it's unique artificial scenery and natural landscape,Xinjiang oil-painting presents totally different scene compared with oil-paintings in inland. In 50-60 years last century, an artistic creation team led by Haz. Emet appared,It's excellent prepearation in several domestic exhibitions earned significant position for Xinjiang painting.Nevertheless,Xinjiang situated at west of China,there's a backward economy there,cultural informations communicationg is led behind,In addition,many local artists' thought standpat,they wallow in the subject matter of folk custom with little meanings of spirit many years,or just spread out ordinary life scenes, they do little deliberations and extractions from life, with so many disadvantage factors,Xinjiang fine art is separated from main stream of national fine arts progressively.In the begining,this paper will present the development conditions and achievements of Xinjiang oil-painting in the past years and nowadays, besides, analyze each factors which impacts the form of unique style of Xinjiang painting. In addtion,it will seek and discuss the problems faced by Xinjiang fine art from both internal and outside causes.Finally,thoughtout an outlet of Xinjiang oil-painting development,which comes through investigations in that area and viewpoints of both local artists and artists outside Xinjiang.
