The Research On The Leagle Regulation And Government Regulation Of Prepaid Cards

In recent years, along with the diversification of the commercial form, thediversification of the transactions and the logistics development, the traditionalcash, checks and other payment methods has been difficult to meet theconsumption needs of individual. With the deepening of China’s marketeconomy development, many new forms of consumption appear. The prepaidconsumption is one of them. Prepaid cards as a new consumption patternsrelated to entertainment, dining, bathing and other industries, more and moreattentions have paid. However, from our current market practice, theconsumption status of the prepaid cards worries us, the event against theinterests of consumers in the process of the consumer card happens frequently.Currently, the need to the prepaid cards from the corporation and the consumeris strong, while the government regulatory is relatively ineffective, theacademic research is also quite weak. This dissertation analysis the legal natureof the prepaid cards, the existing problems, causes, and the legal regulation ofthe prepaid cards, the government to provide feasibility recommendations toprotect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and promote thesmooth development of the consumer economy.
