In today’s world, along with the development of the society, every branch of the country isdeveloping rapidly day by day. Self-service travel as a newly developed style of tourism isfavored by different groups of people, and it becomes one of the main style of tourism andout-door sports. Otherwise, though self-service travel brings people tremendous fun andmental pleasure, it also brings legal problems. Especially in the cases of liability of accidentshappened during a self-service travel. In our country’s civil law and codes, there are nospecific rules to cover this kind of cases, no general criterions to control the judicial procedure.It is very challenging for the law makers, they must find ways to have those difference allsettled in the same rule, it is the efficient way to deal with the judicial problem. Furthermore,it is urgent for the civil law academia to integrate the system of tort law. Thus, under thecircumstance, this dissertation will analyze liability of the organizer of self-service travel infive chapters:The first chapter will talk about the purpose to write the dissertation and the backgroundalong with results which was researched in land and abroad by now; This chapter will beginwith typical cases, analyze the focused points of the cases and the basic conceptions.The second chapter is the legitimacy of security duty of organizer on self-service travelorganizer, the dissertation will analyze it with basis of law,The third part will be the foundation theories of security duty, and the forth part will talkabout the details of the security duty.The fifth chapter will follow the analysis of chapter three to discuss the doctrine ofliability fixation, component elements, and the content of security liability.The last part will be a conclusion of this dissertation.
