Concealment System has a very important position in the ethical law and legalhistory of ancient China, Concealing between the relatives is not only an importantmoral principle in ancient China, but also is an important system in our ancient law.The Concealment System manifests the filial piety, meanwhile they also reflect thespirit of human relations under "combine the rite and law". From the perspective ofmodern legal value, the traditional Chinese Concealment System have a veryimportant role for easing the conflict between reality and law and socialcontradictions, based on this, the author hopes that through the systematic researchand rational analysis of traditional system, which can get some inspiration for thelegal theory and practice in contemporary society, so that the system can bereconstructed and perfected in contemporary China.There are four chapters in this paper, Chapter I firstly make a clear concept oftraditional Chinese concealment system, specifically analyze the connotation,historical evolution, forming background and developing characteristics of thetraditional Chinese concealment system in detail; Chapter II analyzes the core oftraditional Chinese concealment system, separately expound from the legal basis, theethical foundation, the thinking of traditional values and the value orientation ofcontemporary Chinese; Chapter III compare the concealment System in Chinese andWestern cultures to highlight the characteristics for respecting the humanity andsympathizing with the family affection; Chapter IV is the focus of the article, throughthe analysis of the contemporary limitations and feasibility for traditional Chineseconcealment system, thus completing the restructure of concealment system inChinese criminal law.
