Research On The Incorporation Of The Socialist Core Value System Into Community Education

The socialist core value system as the soul of a country, decides the development direction ofthe cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. To intensify incorporation of the socialist coreValue system activities into community education, with the socialist core value system of social asthe ideological trend, fosters cohesion and has a great significance on the prosperity and greatdevelopment of the advanced socialist culture. The paper takes communities of Ningbo as theresearch sample, through literature review, interview method, observation and other methods, datais collected, and the “Process-Event Analysis” approach is used. The formation of the socialist corevalues education in the current communities of Ningbo is demonstrated. Meanwhile, subjectivemotives of the interviewees are analyzed so as to fulfill a complete picture of the status quo of thedevelopment of the socialist core value system and to describe its dynamic process ofdevelopment.Ningbo has made many important achievements in organizing community education activitiesof socialist core value system. However, such activities are still inadequate, unbalanced and is oflow recognition among community members. This paper concerns a four-dimension study ofNingbo community through discussions on the subject and object of the ideological and politicaleducation. Based on the socialization theory and Marxist theory featuring social education andthe overall development of people, socialist core value system incorporated into Ningbocommunity education is discussed. The education of system needs to be more concise andapplicable to daily life. At the same time, government guidance, management, evaluation of thesocialist core value system of the community education should be strengthened, to promote socialforces in participation in the relevant activities. Finally need to create a sound environment forcommunity education of socialist core value system, foster the innovation of carrier and ofincorporation methods, to enhance community residents’ motivation in participating in theactivities of socialist core value system. Only through joint efforts and firm determination will thesystem of socialist core values successfully incorporated into the healthy and orderly developmentof community.
